I know, I know! Things have been very quiet around A Writer’s Journey lately, and I apologize for that. But I think you’ll appreciate why. Because of my limited writing time, I had to make some difficult choices between writing new articles or completing Necromancer Falling, the sequel to my metaphysical fantasy Necromancer Awakening.
I’m happy to report I recently completed the 1st draft, and I’m preparing to go into the revision process within the next couple of weeks.

Coolness! I usually like a trailer that teases maybe one or two more specifics about the story, but this plays the more general game very well. Especially love the music, very epic.

I did this one myself, for budgetary reasons. I spent a couple of days putting together a basic script/outline for what I wanted to convey, then hit the stock video sites until I found the clips I needed. I stitched everything together in Windows Movie Maker (came installed by default on my laptop). The most time-consuming part was finding the right stock video and music.
I have a dark romantic comedy out – it’s hard to pinpoint- but along the vibe of Christopher Moore’s work. And I really need a video trailer – it would just be fun! Thanks for the tips – I’ll look into Windows Movie Maker =)
